In the past I have several cell phones which I've been happy with, but nothing prepared me for how fantastic my apple iphone would be!
The one feature that many phones have but with disappointing results is surfing the web, the iphone with its Safari browser is exceptional. The service provided by ATT is excellent and it literally does work anywhere.
The clarity of the screen on the iphone is brilliant, when you consider the size of a cell phone. If there is anything on the site you want enlarging, the touch technology makes it a piece of cake.

I would be lying if I said the quality of the videos and pictures was superb, but as these are merely phone features and not the reason you are buying the iphone, who cares? The clarity is still better than most cells.
Whatever phone you have, touch or keypad, texting can be a problem if you have large fingers. You need to adapt to a touch screen same as you would to the buttons. I'm typing my texts 5 times faster now, which I think is great, I can send even more than I did before and can answer important texts so much quicker.

This one has different settings and the volume it can reach is phenomenal. The ringtones aren't great, well they never are on a cell, but its easy enough to get your self new ones.
We have all had the inconvenience of getting the battery low signal on our phones but not having our bulky chargers with us. The iphone has a second way to get charged, a small cable that goes into a USB port. The charging time is 45-60 minutes for a dead phone, as opposed to 15-30 for a mains charger.
